اور جب وہ اُس کے پاس سے لوٹ گئے (اُنہوں نے اُسے بڑی بیماریوں میں مُبتلا چھوڑا(تو اُسی کے ملازموں نے یہویدع کاہن کے بیٹوں کے خُون کے سبب سے اُس کے خلاف سازش کی اور اُسے اُس کے بستر پر قتل کیا اور وہ مرگیا اور اُنہوں نے اُسے داؤد کے شہر میں دفن تو کیا پر اُسے بادشاہوں کی قبروں میں دفن نہ کیا۔

And when they were departed from him, (for they left him in great diseases,) his own servants conspired against him for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the city of David, but they buried him not in the sepulchres of the kings.

The servants killed Joash on his own bed. After he died, the people buried him in the City of David. But they didn't bury him in the place where the kings are buried.
